Are Pool Socks Really Necessary for Protecting Your Pool Equipment?

Pool socks are a lifesaver if you’ve got a lot of debris in your pool. They catch all the small stuff before it gets to the pump basket, which means less cleaning for you. I’ve been using them for about 5 months now, and I’ve noticed a big difference in how often I have to clean out the basket.

They do get dirty pretty quick, but they’re easy to clean. Just rinse them out with a hose and let them dry. I usually replace mine every 3-4 months, but they’re cheap enough that it’s not a big deal.

Check out Doheny’s for some good options. They’ve got a decent selection and prices.
