I’ve been using pool socks for a while now, and I can honestly say they’ve made a big difference. They catch all the small debris that would otherwise clog up my pump basket. I used to have to clean out the basket every few days, but now I only have to do it once a week.
They do get dirty pretty quick, but they’re easy to clean. Just rinse them out with a hose and let them dry. I’ve had mine for about 4 months now, and they’re still holding up fine.
