Wow, thanks for all the replies, everyone! I didn’t realize so many people were getting the webshare scam email too.
I just checked my email with Have I Been Pwned, and thankfully, nothing’s been compromised. I also enabled 2FA on all my accounts, so hopefully, that’ll keep me safe.
Quick question though—has anyone actually reported the email to webshare? I’m wondering if they’re aware of this scam going around.
