Which is harder to detect: Puppeteer vs Selenium detection in web automation?

20 Replies, 1961 Views

Selenium is easier to detect, but it’s not impossible to make it stealthy. I’ve had success by using undetected-chromedriver and randomizing user agents.

Puppeteer is better out of the box, but you still need to tweak it. Disabling the `webdriver` flag and using headless mode helps a lot.

If you’re looking for a tool to test detection rates, try BrowserStack. It’s been super helpful for me.
