So, I’ve been trying to figure out how to enable viewport offset in Chrome for better web dev stuff, and honestly, it’s been a bit of a headache. Like, why isn’t this just a default thing, ya know?
Anyway, here’s what I found:
1. Open Chrome DevTools (F12 or right-click > Inspect).
2. Go to the "Rendering" tab (if you don’t see it, click the 3 dots > More tools > Rendering).
3. Scroll down and check the box for "Emulate a focused page" or "Emulate a viewport offset."
Boom! Now you can enable viewport offset in Chrome and test how your site behaves with different scroll positions. Super handy for debugging sticky headers or weird layout issues.
Anyone else tried this? Or got a better way to enable viewport offset in Chrome? Lemme know! 😄
