So I’ve been using Brave for a while now, and I keep hearing mixed things about whether brave block ip addresses or not. Like, does it actually stop websites from seeing my IP? I know it’s great for blocking ads and trackers, but I’m kinda confused about the IP part.
Some folks say it’s super effective for privacy, while others claim it doesn’t fully hide your IP. I mean, if brave block ip, that’d be awesome, but I’m not entirely sure how it works under the hood.
Anyone got the deets on this? Like, does it just block trackers or actually mask your IP too? And how effective is it compared to, say, a VPN?
