ugh, i feel you. xfinity static ip is such a hassle for home users. i tried calling them too, and they basically said “nope, not for you” unless i switch to business.
i ended up using a vpn with a static ip feature. it’s not perfect, but it works for gaming and stuff. check out nordvpn or expressvpn—they have options for static ips.
