man, i feel your pain. xfinity static ip is such a headache. i tried getting one for my home server, but they wouldn’t budge unless i switched to a business plan.
i ended up using a raspberry pi with duckdns. it’s free and updates your ip automatically. not as good as a *xfinity static ip*, but it’s a decent alternative.
