Webmail Socket Issues: Is Anyone Else Experiencing Connection Problems?

I’ve been dealing with webmail socket issues too. I used a tool called TCPView to monitor the connections, and it showed that the socket was timing out. Restarting my modem fixed it for me.

Also, try flushing your DNS cache. Sometimes old DNS records cause connection problems.
