So, I’ve been diving into browser automation lately, and the whole puppeteer vs playwright debate is driving me a bit nuts. Like, both seem super powerful, but which one should I actually go for?
Puppeteer feels like the OG, ya know? It’s been around longer, and the docs are pretty solid. But then Playwright comes in with its multi-browser support and built-in test runner, and I’m like, “Okay, that’s kinda dope.”
Anyone else stuck in the puppeteer vs playwright loop? What’s your take? Are you team Puppeteer or team Playwright? Or do you just use both depending on the project?
Also, any tips for a noob like me? I’m tryna avoid wasting time on the wrong tool. 😅
