Hey everyone,
I’ve been hearing a lot about this thing called "What is WiFi proxy?" lately, and I’m kinda confused. Like, is it some kind of VPN or something else entirely?
From what I gather, a WiFi proxy acts like a middleman between your device and the internet. It kinda hides your IP address, which is cool for privacy, but I’m not sure how it’s different from a VPN.
Also, does it slow down your connection? I’ve heard mixed things about that. And do you need special software to set it up, or can you just tweak your router settings?
If anyone can break it down in simple terms, that’d be awesome. Thanks in advance!
P.S. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find a clear answer.
