Hey! I had the same "instagram something went wrong in browser" problem yesterday.
What fixed it for me was resetting my Chrome settings. Go to Settings > Reset settings > Restore settings to their original defaults.
It’s a bit drastic, but it worked for me. Also, make sure your Windows 10 is updated—sometimes outdated OS versions cause weird bugs.
