Hey y’all, so I’ve been wondering—does the Craigslist app hide your phone number? Like, I’ve been using it for a while, and I’m lowkey paranoid about randos getting my digits.
From what I’ve seen, it kinda does? When you list something, it gives you the option to use their relay system, which masks your number. But tbh, I’m not 100% sure if it’s foolproof. Like, does the Craigslist app hide your phone number *completely* or just kinda sorta?
Also, I’ve heard some ppl say they’ve had their real number show up accidentally. Idk if that’s user error or what, but it’s sketchy. Anyone else had this happen?
