I’ve been using Hotspot Shield to unblock YouTube, and it’s been pretty reliable. The free version has ads, but it gets the job done.
Also, if you’re worried about getting caught, try using it on your phone with mobile data instead of the school/work Wi-Fi. Less chance of being tracked.
