So, I was digging through some old files and stumbled upon a bunch of stuff encoded with Xvid pool. Got me wondering... anyone still using Xvid pool for encoding these days?
I mean, I know it's kinda old-school, but there's something nostalgic about it, y'know? Plus, it’s lightweight af and doesn’t eat up your CPU like some of the newer codecs.
But yeah, what’s your experience with it? Still holding up or nah? Any quirks or tips for someone thinking of giving it another go?
Also, if you’ve moved on, what’s your go-to now? Just curious!
