Hey everyone,
I’ve been hearing the term "network protocol" thrown around a lot, but I’m still kinda confused. Can someone explain what is meant by network protocol? Like, is it just some fancy way of saying how computers talk to each other?
I need a clear definition, but in simple terms, lol. Like, is it a set of rules or something? And why do we even need it?
Also, are there different types? I’ve heard of HTTP and TCP, but idk if those are examples or something else entirely.
Thanks in advance! Appreciate any help
