Wow, thanks for all the tips, everyone! I didn’t expect so many responses. I tried NordVPN’s SmartPlay like someone suggested, and it’s been working pretty well so far. No buffering, which is a win.
I also tested my connection with Speedtest, and the ping is way better now. Still tweaking a few things, though. Does anyone know if using a DNS changer alongside a proxy makes a difference? Or is that overkill?
