same issue here!! i was so annoyed when i saw the "why does my instagram say something went wrong" message.
i fixed it by switching to a different account and then switching back. idk why but it worked lol.
also, check if you’re using the latest version of insta. they push updates all the time and sometimes the app bugs out if you’re behind.
