I get where you’re coming from. Proxy data can feel a bit abstract, but it’s crazy how much info we can get from it. Like, sediment layers can tell us about ancient ocean temps—how wild is that?

But yeah, there’s always gonna be some uncertainty. That’s why they use multiple proxies and statistical methods to fill in the gaps.
