So I’ve been trying to figure out this whole *blocked vs deactivated instagram* thing for a while now. Like, how do you even tell if someone blocked you or just deactivated their account? It’s lowkey confusing, ngl.
From what I’ve gathered, if their profile just disappears and you can’t find it at all, they *might* have deactivated. But if you can still see their profile pic and bio but can’t view their posts or stories, chances are you’ve been blocked.
Anyone else dealt with this? What did you do? I’m kinda torn between just moving on or trying to figure out what happened lol.
Also, is there a way to confirm if it’s blocked vs deactivated instagram without looking sus? Like, I don’t wanna ask mutual friends and make it awkward.
