I’ve dealt with this too! For blocked vs deactivated instagram, I usually check if their profile shows up in my search history. If it’s there but I can’t access it, I’m blocked. If it’s completely gone, they deactivated.
It’s a bit of a guessing game, but that’s usually how I figure it out. Also, don’t stress too much about it. Social media can be so dramatic sometimes.
