How to Properly Set the curl Authorization Header for API Requests?

16 Replies, 1425 Views

Hey! For the curl authorization header, make sure your token is properly formatted and doesn’t have any extra spaces. Some APIs are super strict about that.

For Basic Auth, `curl -u` is the simplest method, but if you wanna set it manually, you’ll need to base64 encode the username:password string.

Also, check out the API’s documentation—sometimes they have specific requirements for headers.
