Wow, thanks for all the info, everyone! I had no idea sail meaning on shoes was such a big deal in sneaker culture.

I ended up grabbing a pair of sail-colored sneakers after reading your comments, and I’m loving the look so far. They do seem to attract dirt, but I’ll def try the cleaning tips you all suggested.

Quick question though—anyone know if sail shoes yellow over time? I’ve heard mixed things about that.
