So, I’ve been trying to figure out *what is configure proxy* and how it actually works. Like, I’ve heard the term thrown around a lot, especially when it comes to internet settings or privacy stuff, but I’m still kinda confused.
From what I gather, configuring a proxy basically means setting up a middleman server between your device and the internet. It kinda hides your IP address and can help with stuff like accessing blocked websites or improving security. But like, how does it *actually* work?
Do you just enter some server details in your settings, and boom, you’re good to go? Or is there more to it? Also, does it slow down your connection? I’m a total noob at this, so any tips or explanations would be super helpful!
