I’ve been using datacenter proxys for my runescape bot proxys, and they’ve been working fine for me. I use Proxy-Cheap, and they’ve been pretty reliable.
I think the key is to not bot too much at once. I usually bot for a few hours a day and then take a break. Rotating IPs are still a thing, but I’ve found that sticking to a few IPs works better for me.
Just my experience, but I think people overcomplicate it sometimes. Keep it simple, and you’ll be fine.
