Hey everyone,
So, I’ve been hearing this term "what is wifi proxy" thrown around a lot lately, and tbh, I’m kinda confused. Like, is it some fancy tech thing or just another way to hide your online stuff?
From what I gathered, a wifi proxy is basically a middleman between your device and the internet. It kinda reroutes your connection through another server, so your IP address gets masked. Sounds cool, but also a bit sus, right?
I’m not entirely sure how it works tho. Does it slow down your internet? Or is it just for privacy? Someone pls explain in simple terms cuz I’m lost lol.
Also, is it even worth using? Like, do y’all use it for streaming or just to stay lowkey online?
Thanks in advance! ✌️
