Bro, I feel you on the splotchy mess fear. My first attempt was a disaster because I didn’t prep the shoes properly.

Now I always use Angelus Preparer and Deglazer before dyeing. It strips the factory finish and lets the dye soak in evenly.

I’ve had the best results with Rit DyeMore and Jacquard dyes. Just follow the instructions, and you’ll be good.

Oh, and don’t forget to use gloves unless you want rainbow hands for a week.
