Does the Google extension that scans text from a webpage work reliably for extracting content?

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I didn’t realize there were so many alternatives out there. I’m definitely gonna try Copyfish and MarkDownload first—they sound like they might solve the issues I’ve been having.

Also, the tip about disabling ad blockers is something I hadn’t thought of. I’ll give that a shot too.

For text in images, I’ll check out Adobe Scan and Microsoft Lens. I’ve been avoiding OCR tools because they seemed complicated, but I guess it’s time to dive in.
