Getting 'Minecraft you're already connected on this proxy' error - how to fix it?

this error is the worst lol. i fixed it by changing my DNS settings to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).

also, try using a different launcher like MultiMC. it sometimes bypasses these weird proxy issues.

if all else fails, just wait it out. the server usually fixes itself after a while.
