Getting 'Minecraft you're already connected on this proxy' error - how to fix it?

yo, i had this exact issue last night. it’s super frustrating, but i fixed it by resetting my router and flushing my DNS.

also, try joining through a different IP if your friend’s server has one. sometimes the main IP gets overloaded.
