I’ve been using Kodi with the Universal Movie Scraper add-on for scraping movie files from IMDb. It’s free and works like a charm for metadata, posters, and synopses.
Just make sure to configure the scraper settings to avoid hitting IMDb too hard. A delay of 5-10 seconds between requests usually does the trick.
