ugh, school proxies are the worst. i’ve found that using a combination of Ultrasurf and a portable browser like Firefox Portable works pretty well. you can run it off a USB, so it’s harder for the school to track.
also, try using obscure proxy sites—they tend to stay up longer since fewer people know about them.
