So, I’ve been trying to set up Gmail proxy over Thunderbird for like, forever now, and I’m kinda stuck. Has anyone here actually managed to get it working? I’ve followed a bunch of tutorials, but something always goes wrong.
I’m using Thunderbird 115 (latest version) and trying to connect Gmail via a proxy server. I’ve set up the IMAP/SMTP settings, but it just keeps timing out or throwing errors.
Is there a specific proxy config I’m missing? Or maybe some hidden setting in Thunderbird that I need to tweak? I’ve tried both HTTP and SOCKS proxies, but no luck so far.
If anyone’s got this working, pls share your setup steps or any tips! I’m losing my mind over here lol.
