I’ve never used an Upwork interview proxy, but I know someone who did. It worked for a while, but then the client asked for a follow-up call, and the proxy wasn’t available. Long story short, the client got suspicious, and the freelancer got reported.
Moral of the story? Don’t do it. It’s not sustainable, and the risks are way too high. Just be yourself and let your skills speak for you.
