Honestly, I think Instagram IP finders are overhyped. What can an Instagram IP finder do? Not much, really. It can give you an IP address, but that’s about it. You’d need way more tech skills to actually track someone’s exact location, and even then, it’s not reliable.
Plus, IG’s privacy settings are pretty tight, so most of these tools just pull basic data. If you’re worried about legality, I’d avoid using them unless you have a really good reason.
I tried one called TraceMyIP, and it was meh. Not worth the hassle imo.
