So, I’ve been trying to figure out what does configure proxy mean, and I’m kinda stuck. Like, I’ve seen the option in my browser settings and stuff, but I have no clue what it actually does or why I’d need to mess with it.
Is it something to do with hiding my IP or making my internet faster? Or is it just for, like, work networks or something? I’m not super techy, so if someone could break it down in simple terms, that’d be awesome.
Also, if I *do* need to configure a proxy, how do I even do that? Like, what settings should I use? Any help would be appreciated, ‘cause I’m totally lost rn.
