I tried oculusproxies once, and while they did improve performance, it wasn’t a night-and-day difference for me.
I think it depends on your setup. If you’re already running a high-end rig, the boost might not be as noticeable. But if you’re on the lower end, it could help a lot.
Also, yeah, it’s not super easy to set up. Took me a couple of hours to get it right.
