Yo, I feel your pain. The verizon proxy has been super glitchy for me too. I’m in the Midwest as well, so maybe it’s something on their end?
I’ve been using a site called DownDetector to check if others are having issues too. It’s not a fix, but at least you can see if it’s widespread or just you.
