Same boat here! The verizon proxy has been acting up for me too. I’m not in the Midwest, though, so it might not be regional.
I’ve been using a tool called PingPlotter to track where the connection drops. It’s not a fix, but it helps pinpoint if the issue is with the proxy or somewhere else in the network.
