So, I’ve been thinking about fingerprint spoofing lately, and honestly, it’s kinda scary how easy it seems to bypass some of these "high-tech" security systems. Like, I’ve seen videos where people use stuff as simple as glue or even a photo to trick fingerprint scanners. WTF, right?
I get that modern systems are *supposed* to be better at detecting fake prints, but how effective are they *really*? I mean, if someone’s determined enough, can’t they just 3D print a fake fingerprint or something?
Also, does anyone know if the newer phones or biometric locks are actually improving against fingerprint spoofing? Or is it just marketing hype?
Kinda makes me wonder if we’re over-relying on this tech. What do y’all think? Are we safe, or is this just a false sense of security?
