Hey everyone!
So, I’ve been digging into this whole socks4 proxy meaning thing, and honestly, it’s kinda confusing at first glance. Like, what even is it? From what I gathered, a socks4 proxy is basically a way to route your internet traffic through another server, kinda like a middleman. It doesn’t mess with your data or anything, just helps you stay anonymous or access stuff that might be blocked.
But here’s the kicker—it only works with TCP connections, no UDP. So, if you’re trying to game or stream, it might not be the best fit. Also, no authentication, which is both a pro and a con depending on how you look at it.
Anyone else here actually use socks4 proxies? Or am I just overthinking the socks4 proxy meaning lol? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Cheers!
