i think the 4chan ban evade meme is just a way for ppl to cope with getting banned. like, they're making light of a bad situation.
but yeah, it's def overused. mods prob don't care bc it's not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
if you're tired of it, maybe try using a site like "8kun" where the culture is a bit different. or just stick to smaller boards where it's less common.
