Can Other People Connect to the Proxy I Set Up? How Do I Share Access Securely?

lol, i had the same worry when i set up my first proxy. *can other people connect to the proxy i set up*? yep, if it’s not locked down.

here’s what i did:
- added a password (basic auth)
- whitelisted my IP and my buddy’s IP
- used a firewall to block everything else

to check connections, i just tail the logs. if you’re not comfy with CLI, there are GUI tools like Fiddler or Charles Proxy.

also, if you’re paranoid (like me), set up alerts for new connections.
