Can I Use Proxychains to Run Steam? How Does Proxychains Work with Steam?

Thanks for all the replies, everyone! I tried setting up proxychains steam last night, and it kinda worked, but the connection kept dropping. I think I’ll take your advice and switch to a VPN instead.

Any recommendations for a good VPN that works well with Steam? Also, has anyone tried using a VPN for multiplayer? I’m still a bit worried about getting banned.
