I’ve used proxychains steam for a while now, and it’s been hit or miss. Sometimes it works flawlessly, other times Steam just refuses to connect.
For multiplayer, I haven’t had any issues, but I’ve heard some people get flagged. If you’re worried about bans, maybe stick to single-player games.
