Proxy Node ProtonVPN Requires a Username and Password in Chrome – How to Fix?

Hey everyone,

So I’ve been dealing with this issue where the *proxy node protonvpn requires a username and password chrome* and it’s driving me nuts. Like, why does it keep popping up outta nowhere? I’m just tryna browse, man.

I’ve tried clearing cache, restarting Chrome, even reinstalling ProtonVPN, but nope. Still asking for creds. Anyone else facing this?

I *think* it might be something with the proxy settings in Chrome, but idk for sure. Maybe it’s a bug or something? If anyone’s got a fix, pls share. I’m tired of this nonsense lol.

Also, if you’re using ProtonVPN and haven’t seen this yet, consider yourself lucky. It’s annoying af.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help! Cheers.
