Does Riot Ban IP Addresses for Smurfing? Need Clarification!

I’ve seen a lot of posts about this, and the consensus is that Riot doesn’t ban IPs for smurfing. It’s mostly scare tactics.

But if you’re really worried, you could use a VPN to hide your IP. Just make sure it’s a good one, or it might mess with your ping.
