Hey, I’ve been working with socks 5 configurator setups for a while now. For auth, I’d suggest using a combination of username/password and IP whitelisting for extra security.
As for tools, check out `sshuttle`—it’s not exactly a socks 5 configurator, but it’s great for tunneling and testing.
