I’ve been using uTorrent for years too, but yeah, it’s gotten sketchy. The ads are insane, and I’ve heard rumors about it being bundled with crypto miners. Not cool.
I switched to Deluge recently, and it’s been solid. No ads, no nonsense. If you’re asking "is uTorrent safe," I’d say it’s not worth the risk anymore. There are better options out there.
