Hey folks!
So, I’ve been messing around with setting up a linux export socks5 proxy lately, and thought I’d share how I got it working. It’s actually pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.
First, you’ll need to install something like `dante-server` or `ssh` for the proxy setup. Then, configure the settings in the config file (yeah, I know, config files can be a pain lol).
Once it’s running, you can linux export socks5 proxy by setting the env vars like `export http_proxy=socks5://127.0.0.1:1080`. Boom, done!
Anyone else tried this? Let me know if I missed something or if there’s a better way. Cheers!
P.S. Typing this on my phone, so sorry for any weird autocorrects haha.
